Short dreams

A dream doesn’t have to be a long one to be good. So, don’t dismiss a dream because it doesn’t seem to be long enough compared to others that you have had. Someone sent me this dream

“she heard the sound of a loud and fast train, looked at her phone and it was 6:13. She heard the spirit of the Lord say there’s significance to that it’s a verse”

Now we already know that the Lord gives us dreams that causes us to think “What?” So it stuck in her with a question mark. The natural conclusion would be that it was a verse in the bible that was chapter 6 and verse 13, and maybe in another dream that might be so but in this dream it wasn’t the case. A verse is a piece of something that tells a story, so let’s look at the pieces. The train was loud and fast, it got her attention and she wanted to remember when she heard it, so she looked at her phone and then she heard again the sound of the voice.
When we hear the voice of the Lord speaking, it usually gets our attention enough that we begin to move on what he has spoken about, or at least we begin to ponder it.
The number 6, the number of man as man was created on the 6th day and given dominon over everything. 13 can be a number for rebellion or a double portion.

What is the Story? When God created us He put his breath in us that gave us life, He spoke His plans to us and gave us dominion over all that He created for us and told us to "take care of it". We can choose what we do with those plans. He wants to lead and guide us through life and cause us to succeed. We can follow his leading and guiding, or we can become prideful and rebellious and move in areas that He has warned us about, it is our choice. He gives the invitation to stay connected with him the rest of our days and the way to stay connected, the phone. A phone you can dial and call, pray and ask questions and it is a two way connection, He speaks back. You can read a text, His written word that He has left for us, and you can look up the history of where you have been. What are you looking at and exploring? Again, it is our choice.

Keep on dreaming
.

Visions of a Dying Man

My uncle passed away a few weeks ago. He was a WWII veteran and married to my aunt for 64 years. His last few months were spent in a nursing home. I was heart broken at some of the things I was hearing about him. He was imagining that my aunt was (at almost 90 years of age) having an affair. He believed that every night when he went to sleep, she would slip out the door with her boyfriend and hit the streets until early dawn returning before he awoke. He was so convinced of this fantasy that in his waking moments he would yell at my aunt in anger over her infidelities. He would threaten her with divorce and accuse her of terrible things. She, of course, knew he was not in his right mind and patiently, but tearfully, ignored him. His final accusation was that she bore her lover twins and was hiding them from him. My family would sometimes laugh at the things he would come up with. I myself thought he was just losing it.....until 2 days ago. My family had yet another yet different crisis but this one had me traveling. It was on this long drive, in deep thought and prayer for what family issues I knew lay ahead, that the Lord revealed something to me. My uncle was not losing his mind. He was dreaming. In his fragile state, he could not differentiate between fantasty and reality, however, he believed that my gracious, wonderful, faithful aunt was with her boyfriend lover every night. And eventually bore her lover twins. The revelation was not what the dream meant but that he was dreaming. He wasn't losing his mind and he wasn't hallucinating. What does this mean to me? It means that God was speaking to him about the darkness and dark forces that controlled his marriage and family. I was elated and sad at this revelation. Because I knew how simple it would have been to pray over my uncle and bind the spirit he saw in his dreams. You see in my uncle's dying state he was closer to the spirit realm than he had ever been before. He did not realize, because he was not a spiritual person, that the dark man he saw in his dream was a dark spirit. Had I had this revelation before his death, I would have prayed to bind the spirit and release God's blessings over him. Yes I prayed blessings over him but couldn't understand why my prayers were hitting invisible walls...The scripture tells us we must FIRST bind the strong man. As far as I'm concerned his dreams exposed the enemy and simultaneously gave us a prayer strategy for breaking the powers of darkness. Iwill never again ignore the visions of a dying man.

I will know better next time.

Do you dream?

I'm pretty terrible at this blog thingy! I thought my two friends would help me with this but so far they have done far less than my expectations of them! What UP? They just NEVER blog and you know my life seems to be busy sometimes that I just forget to put anything on here.

But....I love dreams! I love that God wants so much to speak to HIS children through dreams. I recently was listening to Katie Souza talk about dreams and she said that God will use dreams to show us places in our soul that need to be healed. You know so many of us have dreams about things in our past that don't seem like anything that we would want to do and there we are in the middle of our dream doing those things that are repulsive to us. Well, maybe next time ask the Lord where in your soul do you have a tie to that past thing or where does HE want to heal you.

I had a dream the other night about having a baby that I was in charge of on a huge jet plane. I was a passenger on the plane but the plane was loaded with people I was taking on a mission trip. The plane then turned into a huge bus and I realized that we had to detour through Houston prior to going over the ocean on our trip.

I think the Lord is taking me to the very "Source"...you know as in, "Houston we have a problem." The place that gives the orders or the next move. I am in charge but God is wanting me to go to Him right now because there are some things coming up that I will need to know so the plane can move on into the air without a hitch!

It's amazing how HE shares things with us in our sleep that we wouldn't be able to see in our waking hours.

Have you ever dreamed about being in a vehicle? These are important dreams because they tell of ministry. A small ministry without a lot of power will be on a bike, motorbike or very small car. Who is driving the car is important because that tells you whose ministry God is speaking of and what your place is in this ministry.

Dreaming about yourself flying is about being in the spirit realm. I think a lot of people are dreaming about flying right now and this is for a very important reason. God is wanting us to come up higher with HIM. This is a crucial time in history! Time for the "church" to arise and to come up with HIM. God is really not raising up more Christian Celebrities right now, HE is raising up the "church"! It's time for us all to take our place in the Kingdom!

When you go to bed tonight ask the Lord to take control of your "sleep patterns". My son taught me this. He said my granddaughter was walking in her sleep and the doctor said it was due to different sleep patterns in her than in others. He began to pray over her sleep patterns and she quit walking. Give God control of your sleep.

This is something I needed to do in Africa. I had hit a wall on the last night and we were getting on a night plane to head back to Paris. I thought I couldn't take anymore of the heat and decided it would be a good idea to take an "African Sleeping pill" and just knock myself out so I don't have to feel my sticky body anymore. Well, I did and then I guess I was talking and walking in my sleep on the plane (at least that is what my team told me). When we are troubled sometimes it just shows up in our sleep.

Good night, happy dreams! Beverly
