Short dreams

A dream doesn’t have to be a long one to be good. So, don’t dismiss a dream because it doesn’t seem to be long enough compared to others that you have had. Someone sent me this dream

“she heard the sound of a loud and fast train, looked at her phone and it was 6:13. She heard the spirit of the Lord say there’s significance to that it’s a verse”

Now we already know that the Lord gives us dreams that causes us to think “What?” So it stuck in her with a question mark. The natural conclusion would be that it was a verse in the bible that was chapter 6 and verse 13, and maybe in another dream that might be so but in this dream it wasn’t the case. A verse is a piece of something that tells a story, so let’s look at the pieces. The train was loud and fast, it got her attention and she wanted to remember when she heard it, so she looked at her phone and then she heard again the sound of the voice.
When we hear the voice of the Lord speaking, it usually gets our attention enough that we begin to move on what he has spoken about, or at least we begin to ponder it.
The number 6, the number of man as man was created on the 6th day and given dominon over everything. 13 can be a number for rebellion or a double portion.

What is the Story? When God created us He put his breath in us that gave us life, He spoke His plans to us and gave us dominion over all that He created for us and told us to "take care of it". We can choose what we do with those plans. He wants to lead and guide us through life and cause us to succeed. We can follow his leading and guiding, or we can become prideful and rebellious and move in areas that He has warned us about, it is our choice. He gives the invitation to stay connected with him the rest of our days and the way to stay connected, the phone. A phone you can dial and call, pray and ask questions and it is a two way connection, He speaks back. You can read a text, His written word that He has left for us, and you can look up the history of where you have been. What are you looking at and exploring? Again, it is our choice.

Keep on dreaming
.

Visions of a Dying Man

My uncle passed away a few weeks ago. He was a WWII veteran and married to my aunt for 64 years. His last few months were spent in a nursing home. I was heart broken at some of the things I was hearing about him. He was imagining that my aunt was (at almost 90 years of age) having an affair. He believed that every night when he went to sleep, she would slip out the door with her boyfriend and hit the streets until early dawn returning before he awoke. He was so convinced of this fantasy that in his waking moments he would yell at my aunt in anger over her infidelities. He would threaten her with divorce and accuse her of terrible things. She, of course, knew he was not in his right mind and patiently, but tearfully, ignored him. His final accusation was that she bore her lover twins and was hiding them from him. My family would sometimes laugh at the things he would come up with. I myself thought he was just losing it.....until 2 days ago. My family had yet another yet different crisis but this one had me traveling. It was on this long drive, in deep thought and prayer for what family issues I knew lay ahead, that the Lord revealed something to me. My uncle was not losing his mind. He was dreaming. In his fragile state, he could not differentiate between fantasty and reality, however, he believed that my gracious, wonderful, faithful aunt was with her boyfriend lover every night. And eventually bore her lover twins. The revelation was not what the dream meant but that he was dreaming. He wasn't losing his mind and he wasn't hallucinating. What does this mean to me? It means that God was speaking to him about the darkness and dark forces that controlled his marriage and family. I was elated and sad at this revelation. Because I knew how simple it would have been to pray over my uncle and bind the spirit he saw in his dreams. You see in my uncle's dying state he was closer to the spirit realm than he had ever been before. He did not realize, because he was not a spiritual person, that the dark man he saw in his dream was a dark spirit. Had I had this revelation before his death, I would have prayed to bind the spirit and release God's blessings over him. Yes I prayed blessings over him but couldn't understand why my prayers were hitting invisible walls...The scripture tells us we must FIRST bind the strong man. As far as I'm concerned his dreams exposed the enemy and simultaneously gave us a prayer strategy for breaking the powers of darkness. Iwill never again ignore the visions of a dying man.

I will know better next time.

Do you dream?

I'm pretty terrible at this blog thingy! I thought my two friends would help me with this but so far they have done far less than my expectations of them! What UP? They just NEVER blog and you know my life seems to be busy sometimes that I just forget to put anything on here.

But....I love dreams! I love that God wants so much to speak to HIS children through dreams. I recently was listening to Katie Souza talk about dreams and she said that God will use dreams to show us places in our soul that need to be healed. You know so many of us have dreams about things in our past that don't seem like anything that we would want to do and there we are in the middle of our dream doing those things that are repulsive to us. Well, maybe next time ask the Lord where in your soul do you have a tie to that past thing or where does HE want to heal you.

I had a dream the other night about having a baby that I was in charge of on a huge jet plane. I was a passenger on the plane but the plane was loaded with people I was taking on a mission trip. The plane then turned into a huge bus and I realized that we had to detour through Houston prior to going over the ocean on our trip.

I think the Lord is taking me to the very "Source"...you know as in, "Houston we have a problem." The place that gives the orders or the next move. I am in charge but God is wanting me to go to Him right now because there are some things coming up that I will need to know so the plane can move on into the air without a hitch!

It's amazing how HE shares things with us in our sleep that we wouldn't be able to see in our waking hours.

Have you ever dreamed about being in a vehicle? These are important dreams because they tell of ministry. A small ministry without a lot of power will be on a bike, motorbike or very small car. Who is driving the car is important because that tells you whose ministry God is speaking of and what your place is in this ministry.

Dreaming about yourself flying is about being in the spirit realm. I think a lot of people are dreaming about flying right now and this is for a very important reason. God is wanting us to come up higher with HIM. This is a crucial time in history! Time for the "church" to arise and to come up with HIM. God is really not raising up more Christian Celebrities right now, HE is raising up the "church"! It's time for us all to take our place in the Kingdom!

When you go to bed tonight ask the Lord to take control of your "sleep patterns". My son taught me this. He said my granddaughter was walking in her sleep and the doctor said it was due to different sleep patterns in her than in others. He began to pray over her sleep patterns and she quit walking. Give God control of your sleep.

This is something I needed to do in Africa. I had hit a wall on the last night and we were getting on a night plane to head back to Paris. I thought I couldn't take anymore of the heat and decided it would be a good idea to take an "African Sleeping pill" and just knock myself out so I don't have to feel my sticky body anymore. Well, I did and then I guess I was talking and walking in my sleep on the plane (at least that is what my team told me). When we are troubled sometimes it just shows up in our sleep.

Good night, happy dreams! Beverly

Silver Saddle

I had a dream the other night about a silver saddle. But this saddle had been stolen from me. In the dream my husband goes into this fenced area to get it back. While there the man sees him and calls the police. Now, I know there have been lots of things that have been stolen from me. I know that the enemy has come to rob steal and destroy, and most of all he comes to take, from all of us, our testimony and walk with Jesus. You see, what he is really after is not you and me, it's Jesus. Back to the dream...long story short the enemy in the dream cannot stop my husband from getting the saddle and I get away also. I believe the police in this dream represented witchcraft police. They came to keep us from something that belonged to us.

But what I want to talk about today is the saddle. It was a mystery to me why I would have a dream about a silver saddle. Even the blanket that goes under the saddle was silver. My husband grabbed it and put in on his shoulders and the saddle over his arm and began to run! Of course I did what we all do when a dream is staying in our mind and in our heart when we wake up, I called my "dream guru" friends and told them my dream. Got some good answers and got some good interpretation.

But yesterday morning I was talking to one of them and she told me that she thought the saddle had to do with positioning. That rang true to me and when I hung up the phone I was looking at my emails and another friend wrote to me that she had a revelation the night before about the saddle being about positioning. That is it!!! The enemy has taken from me a place or a positioning that belongs to me. And God is getting it back for me!

Now why silver? According to the "Prophets Dictionary" by Paula Price the meaning of silver is: A) Symbolic of wisdom. Not only in the soul but it also indicates a spiritual sphere. B) Wisdom, prosperity, and opportunity for fortune.

Remember when your looking at a dream you have to take it all into context and there is always a thread that runs through and it usually is confirming something that has been in your mind as questions or frustration. In dreams God bypasses your conscious mind and goes directly to that inner most part of you that can listen to anything without filtering it.

We have had some words from the Lord that this is breakthrough time in our lives and in my ministry! So what was God saying to me in this dream? Breakthrough is here, new opportunities and the things that were stolen are being restored! Exactly what I have been praying for!

God is faithful and I think this Word is for the Body of Christ, it is for me, and it is for you, if you want to take breakthrough today. I say, lets take it and take back what the enemy has stolen from us.

I just love dreams! Blessings, Beverly

Dreams are elusive and puzzling. We are so prone to putting our life in a neat little package and keeping it closed tight so that others can't see that inside we might be hurting, crying or things might be not so right for us! But dreams! You can't control them, you can't choose them, you're completely out of the way and what a wonderful idea God had when He created them for us. "Wonderful"? Hows that Beverly? Well, He really wants to speak to us but we will only allow so much and then we run...so He made a way to bypass our doctrines, traditions, boxes that we keep tightly closed.

The other day, my friend Jayne posted a dream: "Okay, Let me share my latest dream, block glass windows that had opened as if it had hinges on one side, kept swinging open until I looked though the opening . When I did look I saw a couple sitting on the hill crying, and then there was a garage open and two cars were there then vanished. I approached the couple and they became my neighbors that were all alone and in distress. ....I woke up and have not been able to get that dream out of my head since. My neighbors that I saw have 5 kids under the age of 7, and a huge family."

What on earth is this? It has a life of it's own. Not at all concerned about Jayne's doctrine or her fears. Just out there waiting for Jayne to discover the message! Proverbs 25:2 "It is the Glory of God to conceal a matter and the honor of kings to seek it out."

Here is what I see in this dream Jayne. Block glass is not a window that you can see clearly out of. You might see shadows but cannot really make out what you're looking at. Isn't that the way it is in the spirit realm. In ICor 13 it tells us we see through a glass darkly but then we will see clearly, face to face. Well, God is opening the way for you to see some things you have not seen before. He is showing you some things that I would venture to say you have been praying for. He is wanting to show you those who are hurting all around you. The garage opening to reveal two cars is showing you ministries and what is about to happen to some ministries that you have seen that have not really met the needs of those who are hurting, they vanish. People are in distress and hurting, they are crying out but can the "church" hear the cries? I think you might have even asked the Lord that question. The neighbors you saw are the very people all around you that are crying out on the inside and needing answers. It is interesting that in real life they have 5 children under the age of 7. Five is the number of grace and seven is something that is completed. God has poured out His grace right now to minister to those who are hurting and something is about to be completed in your life.

Great dream Jayne! God really loves you and is calling you into something much bigger than yourself. He is going to use your life to bring hope and healing to those who are hopeless.

Hey, someone posted a comment in the July 10 blog about de ja vue. You can see my answer there. This walk is getting pretty exciting, wouldn't miss it for all the world! Blessings, Beverly

Change

I woke up this morning and I could barely remember my dream, but I knew that it was about CHANGE. It is hard for us to embrace Change as we don't really know what the Change is or how to execute the old to move in the new. No problem! When the Lord speaks about Change, He does know what it takes and how to get us into that new place. He opens the door and really all we have to do is to move through the door. BUT, I can hear you all saying "what door?". I have really come to understand through my 40 years of being with Him that he leads us and guides us in ways that we don't always recognize. It has always been His plan to lead us and guide us into new places that we never knew existed or if we saw them we thought it was for the elite. Guess what we are the elite. Let's all say "YES" to what the Lord is wanting to bring about in us. It is uncomfortable to move into new places through that door that He makes for us, but let's endure the discomfort and let Him reposition us. He can do it.
When the Lord speaks of Change. I have found it very helpful to say "Lord I don't know how to change, but you know how to bring it about, so I am saying Yes to you and trusting You to lead me in the Change." Then sit down, buckle your seatbelt and allow it to happen.

Did you dream last night?

A friend sent me a dream yesterday and it was amazing to see how God spoke to her about some turmoil inside her very being. She had just had a conversation the day before with someone about the questions and turmoil inside concerning faith. God loves so much that He will speak to us in the night concerning our fears and questions that we cannot hear during our waking hours.

You see, my friend was being told something different on every hand, something different by everyone she talked to. Well, when God steps in He brings order, answers and His great Love!

Dreams are His mercy and care for us!

God wants to communicate with, and through, His people

1. This principle is implied in Paul’s exhortation, “For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.”

2. Revelation from God draws us into the awareness that He is intimately aware of our circumstances and actively involved in our lives.

Dreams are very symbolic

1. “Your young men shall see visions; your old men shall dream dreams”
Acts 2:17
To understand dreams you need maturity

Remember the general principle: Dreams are symbolic while visions are more literal in nature.

Consider the highly evocative language Job uses to describe his response and understanding of the dreams and visions he believes are from God.

Job 7:14-15 “Then You scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions, so that my soul chooses strangling and death rather than my body.”

1. You scare me= You break me down and confuse me.

2. Dreams = To speak symbolically

3. Terrify me= To be overcome with wonder

4. Visions= To contemplate or look at another dimension

Dreams are transcendent
Dreams transcend the dimensions of:
1. Height
2. Depth
3. Breadth
4. Time
For example: your dream isn't in the same confines of your real life. You can be taking a shower (now there's another subject) in one scene and without ever getting out of the shower or getting dressed you can find yourself at the mall fully dressed and not know how you got there. You can be an adult in your bedroom that you had as a child, or a child in the adult house where you lived 10 years ago or in a house you've never seen but know that it is your house. Dreams transcend all dimensions!

See you in your dreams! Beverly
